Wake Forest Food Hall Inside Rendering

The group who is tackling this redevelopment into the mixed-use destination is the Alliance Group. They plan to expand the 16,000 sq. ft. building near the intersection of East Roosevelt Ave and North White Street with out door amenities and the addition of rooftop space which will create an unique space overlooking downtown Wake Forest.

Anticipating the approval by the city, they expect it to be approved by the end of this year. Along with getting the speedy approval they have a projection to be fully open by summer of next year 2023.

Food halls have skimmed over the country since early 2000’s in the metro areas like Boston, Brooklyn, and Atlanta. The format of these halls is the informal feel of enjoying that gourmet food from local companies. Which this boosts the community brands and does not focus on the national fast food enterprises.

This food hall in Wake Forest has a plan of easy access from people who work and live in the downtown district. They plan to add ample parking which will add convenience for those who will decide to drive instead of walk. They really hope they capture more than just the locals to help bring in more business from other areas of the region.
